Canon Pixma iP100 Inkjet Printer Cover Removal
Removing the cover allows you to gain access to areas inside the iP100 to clear paper jams (failure code 5100), change broken belts, and general cleaning with isopropyl alcohol. After a paper jam I had the 5100 error code and resetting as per the user guide did not help. User guide is available from Canon at: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/po... . After taking the cover off I discovered a piece of a toothpick inside that was jamming the roller, go figure. Anyway, this has been an excellent portable printer more, especially with the battery and bluetooth option, making a portable solution for road trips. The newer iP110 is black and comes with built-in wireless. Today I saw it at Staples here in Canada for $149, which is a good price.
